At Schloss Wissen, dogs need not stay outside – we cordially invite you to a holiday with your dog! For many dog owners, their beloved four-legged friends are considered full family members whom they like to have around them on vacation, instead of giving them into the care of others. As a dog-friendly hotel, we are aware of this and provide you with several rooms in which to enjoy a sojourn at Schloss Wissen with up to two dogs for a small surcharge of 15€ per dog / day.
Vacation with your dog in idyllic surroundings
Our animal guests are less interested in our lovingly furnished guest rooms with their historical flair in which one can relax perfectly. On the contrary, they are drawn to the outdoors, to the untouched nature surrounding the castle. Meadows and forests invite you to take long walks during your dog vacation. Brave dogs can also treat themselves to a refreshing dip in the Niers, which meanders idyllically through the natural surroundings.
You can, therefore, plan your next vacation with your dog and do not have to leave him with a guilty conscience at a friend’s house or at a boarding kennel. We welcome you and your four-legged friends to our dog-friendly hotel.
