The Shed and the Miller’s house, formerly belonging to the castle, today accommodate the Baron Rooms of Schloss Wissen. You are welcomed by a successful combination of cosy hospitality and stylish design. Lovingly restored historic details remind you of the story of Schloss Wissen, whereas modern amenities make your stay as enjoyable as possible. After a wonderful evening you can look forward to a lavish breakfast buffet in the nearby Historic Watermill where you can gaze into the distance through light flooded windows.

Every Room has its own Story

At Schloss Wissen the guestrooms have own names and not numbers. This also applies to our five Baron Rooms. The individually furnished double rooms carry the names Maria, Fritz, Friedrich Karl, Degenhardt-Bertram und Therese.

These persons played an important role in the family’s history. The story of each namesake can be read up on a name giver board in each room.
