Uiteindelijk omvat dit niet alleen het bebouwde deel van het historische slotcomplex, de voor- en hoofdburcht, de slotkapel, de graanmolen en de Boye (de voormalige behuizing van de bedienden van het kasteel). In het kader van de verbouwing werden delen van de west- en noordvleugel gerenoveerd en verhuurd.<\/p>\n<p>Tegelijkertijd zorgde de verbouwing van de &#8220;Boye&#8221; voor een uitbreiding van het kasteelcomplex met een overnachtings-segment. Het aanbod voor evenementen en vergaderingen werd daarbij nog uitgebreid met de ruimten in de historische molen. Door deze werkzaamheden kon de leefbaarheid van de gebouwen, resp. de elementen van de historische &#8220;Heerlijkheid Wissen&#8221;, in stand worden gehouden, ze verbeterde echter op geen enkele manier de bruikbaarheid of de geschiktheid tot verhuur van delen daarvan.<\/p>\n<p>Vanuit deze achtergrond gaf de de minister van cultuur, prof.dr. Neumann, in\u00a0 2013 de toezegging, de beschreven werkzaamheden vanuit het BKM IV-programma van Duitsland, voor ongeveer een derde deel te subsidi\u00ebren. Een toezegging, waarmee de familie von Lo\u00eb zich in dankbaarheid bevestigd ziet in haar toewijding om het historische landgoed met het kasteel voor de toekomst te De renovatie werd gebaseerd op het vooronderzoek, die door de in 2003 opgerichte stichting &#8221; vrienden van het historische landgoed Wissen&#8221;\u00a0 was uitgevoerd.<\/p>\n<p>De verworven giften konden speciaal voor het noodzakelijke sonderings- en ook voor de restauratiewerkzaamheden worden ingezet.<\/p>\n<p>Ge\u00efnteresseerden kunnen door giften en donaties de werkzaamheden van de stichting ondersteunen.
